You will find everything you need as a mac user and even more. Hints are a revelation while historic notes provides useful background. If I had to own just one mac osx book, that would be "The missing manual" Rating: - Great book! Easy to understandI have just bought an unbelievable MacBook, ( I previously owned a G4 running Tiger) I was a bit worried because I know Snow Leopard is on its way in summer 2009, so upgrades will date this book. However this book is easy to understand and full of logical short cuts. The only drawback is that because I have used a Mac for years a lot of the book contains information I know about. It takes you effortlessly through the basics, constantly surprises you by revealing information you never suspected is available to you just beneath the surface, provides countless hints and tips to get the most from the system and is a great friend to have in times of need.
